･May 2019Exhibit at Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art･October 2018, in Paris　DISCOVER THE ONE JAPANESE ART 2018 AWARD　Received this special committee award for "Tokyo/Maiko," a cross-processed work made of digital film taken at Une exposition artiste réunit les oeuvres de artistes japonais– an exhibition where 126 artists displayed approximately 250 works, including paintings, sculpture, and photography– and then developed in a dark room and fixed to baryta photo paper.
As an additional prize, I have been invited to display the work at Gallery Yaesu in  Tokyo and the  Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art.

This strikingly beautiful compilation was produced and perfected with the utmost of care. Issued on a Heidelberg printing press, a master craftsman put his long years of experience to use in compounding inks again and again, allowing the prints to dry through the day then printing and drying a full day again. The first edition sold out completely. The collection has been exhibited at the Tokyo International Book Fair Exhibition and is stored at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum and National Diet Library.
